Chicardo is out of the Capitol line. Chicardo's sire, Clinton is an international Grand Prix jumper with numerous winnings. In 1999 and 2000, Clinton won the jumping derby in Falsterbo, Sweden and secured many other winnings and high placements all over Europe and Spruce Meadows, Canada.

Chicardo's first two foals of 2005 received premium status. The 2005 filly, Valencia, tied for first place in 2005 AHHA Breeding Stock Approvals Tour. In 2006, as a yearling, Valencia received a score of 9-10 and her full sister, Willkommen (2006 filly) also received a score of 9-10. The other three 2006 foals by Chicardo were also awarded premium with high scores.

Chicardo is currently in jumping training at October Hill Farm and has a promising future.

Starry Ayes is the daughter of Starman (Calypso) and Stylish Ayes. Starman received numerous international and national awards and medals, including the following:
