It
is the dream at Fox Crest Farms to bring the many equine disciplines
found in East Texas together. It is our belief, that despite the
many differences in disciplines, there are positive things we can learn
from each other to improve the equine experience. For example, Reiners can better their horses fitness and performance
through applying basic dressage principles. Show Jumpers can apply
desensitizing techniques used in the training of working horses. Just
because a horse may not be suited for a certain equine sport does not
mean the horse could not benefit from some aptitudes taught in another
discipline.
