Quarter Horse, Paint, Warmblood, & Draft Cross Breeding

Welcome

Fox Crest Farms, located in East Texas, is a diverse equine breeding facility for both Western and English disciplines.

Our Quarter Horse and Paint Horse bloodlines include Zan Parr Bar, Colonel Freckles, Dual Pep, Cowboy Smarts, Doc Bar, Doc Quixote, Smart Little Lena, and The Money Broker, among others.

Warmblood pedigree includes Starman (Calypso), 1988 Seoul Korea Olympic Medal winner in Stadium Jumping.

Our broodmares are Quarter Horse, Paint Horse, Westphalen, Percheron, Belgian and Belgian Morgan cross.

Future Prospects

Our foals are all “hand-raised” providing regular daily contact with us from birth and halter broke before they are weaned. We believe in natural horsemanship methods and begin ground manner lessons at the weanling stage.

This natural method of communication continues to be applied in all that we do with the yearlings to help them develop trust and lay a good solid foundation to become ideal riding companions for their future trainers/riders.

Please be sure to visit our Yearlings and 2009 Foals pages -- who knows, you may find your future equine partner for competition or pleasure right here!
